Motorised Ball Valves are more robust than Solenoid Valves, easily handling higher pressure, frequent use and temperatures. The operating cost of a Motorised Ball Valve is less than a Solenoid Valve as Motorised Ball Valves don't require continuous power to hold position. This also makes them less prone to burning out.
